Roshan Prasad

M.D.P. Roshan is a senior leader in Sri Lanka’s textile and apparel industry, with over three decades of experience spanning merchandising, commercial management, logistics, and international trade operations. He currently serves as Head of Logistics, where he oversees the company’s commercial strategy, import and export operations, logistics execution, and alignment with global buyer requirements.

Educated at Ananda College, Colombo, Mr. Roshan began his career in 1993. He holds professional qualifications in Merchandising and Fabric Technology from the University of Moratuwa, a Higher National Diploma in Textile and Apparel Technology from SLITA, and a certification in Import and Export Management from Sipway Campus.

His early industry experience includes progressive merchandising roles at Wrack Apparels (1993–1996) and Candy Garments (1997–2002), where he advanced to Merchandising Manager. During this period, he also played a key coordinating role in the establishment of three garment factories under Sri Lanka’s national “200 Garment Factory Programme” initiated during the tenure of President Ranasinghe Premadasa.

Mr. Roshan has represented Sri Lanka at multiple international apparel trade fairs in the United Kingdom, Italy, and India, participating in official delegations organized by the Export Development Board and the Ministry of Textile Industries.

Since joining Fidelity in 2005, he has held several senior leadership roles including Senior Merchandiser, Business Development Manager, Merchandising Manager, and Director – Merchandising & Logistics. His leadership and deep operational knowledge have been instrumental in strengthening Fidelity’s commercial discipline, logistics execution, and global client partnerships.

Today, Mr. Roshan continues to lead Fidelity’s commercial and logistics functions with a focus on execution reliability, regulatory compliance, and scalable growth, ensuring seamless delivery from factory floor to final shipment.
